She fears that she loses another child and doesn't trust the doctors. I assume the child is hitler. C. The woman is worrisome and hopeless. She's sensitive and protective of her child. The doctor is reassuring and comforting and the husband is a drunk, he refers to the babies as specimens. D. I assume the plot twist is that the baby is an infant Adolf Hitler. E. The text is foreshadowing upcoming events when it's introduced the babies name as Adolf and the parents last name is Hitler. Characterization is used in the text to describe the father and mother and this explains many of there actions. The child can symbolize new life and hope for the mother because of the many deaths she went through and this can help her overcome those deaths. F. Rate 3.5
